STUDIO MORITZ PUTZIER is a multidisciplinary design office based in Cologne. Our design services are focused on furniture and lighting as well as user orientated products and interior concepts.
Moritz Putzier, who was born in Munich and studied at the Hochschule für Künste in Bremen, is a product designer who lives and works in Cologne today. Already during his studies Putzier was able to develop his first designs ready for series production and launch them on the market with partners from the furniture industry. His studio for product design, founded in 2015, has already won several design awards. Further, he was a German Design Award Newcomer finalist 2016. Moritz Putzier's projects range from furniture and lighting designs to the design of user-oriented industrial products and room concepts. All these areas combine his often playful passion for detail and his fascination for technical refinement. He understands design as a connecting link between people and their environment. Moritz Putzier teaches at Hochschule der Bildenden Künste Saar in the field of product design.
